1. Information we collect

• Club accounts: club name, crest/logo, and a link to the club's existing public presence (e.g. a Facebook page, website, or league listing), provided when a club account is created.
• Team accounts: sport, competitive level, gender category, pitch location, travel radius, and the team manager's name and phone number.
• For teams above the underage cutoff (18+): players may create their own account, providing name, age, position, email address, and phone number, with an optional profile photo.
• For underage teams (under 18): we do not collect any player's age, photo, email address, or phone number. The manager may add a player's name to a roster for team-sheet and stat-logging purposes, with an optional parent or guardian name and phone number attached — never the child's own contact details.
• Messages: the content of messages sent between matched teams within the app.
• Match and fixture data: swipes, matches, agreed fixtures, results, team sheets, and individual performance stats logged by a manager.
• Payment information: subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles this directly, and processes payments in accordance with its own privacy policy.
• Location data: pitch addresses are geocoded using Google Maps/Places to enable distance-based matching and driving directions. We do not track a user's real-time location.

2. How we use this information

• To match teams based on sport, gender, mutual travel radius, and date availability.
• To enable messaging between matched teams.
• To reveal contact details (manager name and phone number) and pitch directions once both managers confirm a match is agreed — this information remains visible for one month from the date of agreement, after which it is hidden again.
• To provide the club/team management features included in a paid subscription (roster, training, tactics, stats, league table, and related features).
• To process subscription payments via Stripe.

3. Children's data

ClubStatr is built around a deliberately restrictive policy for any team categorized as underage: no player accounts, no player-provided contact information, and no photos are collected for players on underage teams. The manager may record a player's name and, optionally, a parent/guardian's name and phone number. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

4. Who we share information with

• The other team in a confirmed match: contact details (name, phone number) and pitch location, only after both sides confirm the match is agreed, and only for one month afterward.
• Stripe: for payment processing.
• Google: for address autocomplete, geocoding, and driving directions.
• We do not sell personal information to third parties.

5. Data retention

• Contact details revealed after a Match Agreed confirmation are retained and visible for one month, then hidden from other users (though may be retained internally for record-keeping/dispute purposes).
• Account and roster data is retained while an account remains active.
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at info@clubstatr.com.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. Contact us at info@clubstatr.com to make a request.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the app.
